My name means: a bird with a sweet voice.
I guess that’s why music and flying (in spirit and otherwise!) are one of my several passions. J
My Favorite book : Beyond the last blue mountain – JRD Tata’s biography by R.M. Lala.
My Favourite authors are : P.L. Deshpande (Marathi), Richard Bach.
My favourite poems : The one and only one that is my all time favorite and my guide in all seasons of life – IF by Rudyard Kipling.
Others that bring sweet memories are – Sagar (Marathi) by Kusumagraj, A Psalm of life by H.W. Longfellow
My favorite lines are: If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead, either write things worth reading or do things worth the writing - Benjamin Franklin.
My favorite English song: Too many to list here but Will list a few.

My favorite Hindi songs : Again, too many to list here. Most songs sung by Kishore Kumar. Most songs composed by R.D Burman. Some songs composed by Rajesh Roshan and Khaiyyam are also among my favorites. In recent times, Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy’s music appeals to me most times.
My Fav movie English: A River runs through it, Shawshank Redemption.
My fav Hindi movies: All movies by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. I can enjoy any of them in any mood. They have a magical effect on me.
My Fav fragrance: The smell of wet soil after rains. Smell of fresh flowers of any kind.
My fav Dish:Masala Dosa. Dosa of any kind. I just lovvve Dosas!
My second fav food: Mumbai Vada paav and all chaat types.
My fav colour: White, Red.
Second fav colour : I love colors - both bright and pastel. So hard to pick one or a few.
My fav friend is: my God.
My fav pastime: Being around nature.
My fav Dress: Comfy cotton or other sleeveless shirt/tops, shorts, light-weight denim jeans.
My fav quality in others is: Down-to–earth and no pretence nature. Calm and composed demeanor.
My fav quality in myself: Unimpressed by anyone’s high social or financial standing and worldly success. The only thing that makes an impression on me is the person and the qualities they possess (some mentioned above). Similarly, unfazed by my own worldly success or failure.
My fav mantra is: Be yourself there is not need to pretend otherwise.
My fav memory is of the time:Childhood. My first job. The first year of marriage.
My Fav Aha moment is: Driving a high performance sports car on the Autobahn in Germany.
My fav fantasy is about : Being a pilot, traveling to different parts of the world all year round.

Cooking : None today. It was Sunday!
Weather : Cool and breezy after a nice rain.
Observation:About myself – getting less sensitive and more easy going even about the things that normally used to ruffle my feathers. Happy about this observation! J
