ENLARGE MENT OF PRSTRATE GLANDue to this the person feels as if the urine is still to pass even after passing the urine.
2) The person passes urine drop by drop.
3) the person cannot stop urine whenever he/she feels sensation of urine
4)The flow of urine also is not continuous to that person
5)After passing the urine also the person feels sensation of urine
For all these problems the major solution is operation of Prostrate gland.

Sinus infections, or sinusitis
The actual infection of the sinuses is most frequently caused by a viral infection (such as the common cold), but can also be bacterial in nature (and therefore responds to antibiotics). Some sinus infections are due to fungus and mold in the sinuses

  • Facial pain and pressure over the involved sinus(es)
  • Nasal congestion
  • Colored nasal discharge
  • Decrease in smell and taste sensations
  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Bad breath/bad taste
  • Fatigue
  • Cough
  • Tooth pain
  • Ear pressure/pain
  • Post nasal drip

Migraineis a severe form of headachethat usually takes place only on one side of the head. Usually migraine causes episodes of severe or moderate headache accompanied by gastrointestinal upsets.

Patients can attempt to identify and avoid factors that promote or precipitate migraine episodes. Patients often start off with the paracetamol tablets. Some patients find relief from taking Benadryl, an Over The Counter sedative antihistamine, or anti-nausea agent.

Migraine home remedy treatment is quite effective.
* Juice of ripe grapes serves as an excellent remedy for treating the problem of migraine. Consume it in small doses several times in a day.
* Crush a few leaves of cabbage and place in a cloth. Bind it on the forehead while lying on the bed.

anaemia
Anemia occurs when your blood doesn't have enough hemoglobin.
causes:
Lack of iron in the diet
Growth spurts
Pregnancy
Blood loss.

Prevention by diet..
Foods high in iron

  • Liver and other meats
  • Seafood
  • Dried fruits like apricots, prunes and raisins
  • Nuts
  • Beans, especially lima beans
  • Green leafy vegetables, such as spinach and broccoli
  • Blackstrap molasses
  • Whole grains
  • Iron-fortified breads and cereals (check the label)
Treatment depends on what's causing the anemia. For example, if anemia results from losing too much blood, the cause of the blood loss will need to be treated. If anemia results from a diet that's low in iron, your doctor may recommend a change in your diet or iron pills

for the topic and meaningful informations from our IL family.....

Now here i share some more on " Antacids "
Antacids are drugs that block or reduce the amount of acid that is produced in the stomach.
There are many different forms of antacids; some are combination products that contain many other ingredients.
Most of the antacids usually have one or two of the following metals in combination to make a salt:
Aluminum , Calcium , Magnesium
Many people use antacids to relieve a burning pain in the upper part of the chest called heartburn.
Heartburn may or may not be a sign of an ulcer.
Ulcers are irritated areas that develop in the stomach in response to infection or increased acid production. They can be small or large in size.
Pain is common with them and antacids can be used to treat the pain and protect the ulcer from worsening.
Other problems, including heart attacks can mimic the symptoms of heartburn.
It is important to discuss any new symptoms with your doctor.
Antacids - Side Effects :
Constipation , Increased thirst , Decreased appetite.
Many antacids taste like chalk. Drink at least one glass of water when using them. Antacids - Precautions :
Give children antacids only when suggested by a doctor.
It is especially important to use caution with the magnesium-containing medications especially if the child has kidney problems or is dehydrated.
The doctor will decide if the drug is safe for the child.
Adults and elderly patients need to be careful if they take antacids too, especially if they have certain diseases.
Certain medications should not be taken with antacids.
It is important to check with your doctor before starting to take any antacid.
Check with your doctor if the pain or discomfort does not go away after taking the drug for several doses.
Aspirin
Aspirin is a medication that has many uses and is available as an 'over-the-counter' drug (without need for a prescription) .
Aspirin is commonly used for pain relief, especially for a headache or pain due to arthritis (a painful swelling of the joints between bones).
Aspirin is also used to bring down a fever in adults.
Aspirin is also used to thin the blood. Persons who have had a stroke or heart attack sometimes need to have their blood thinned so that blood clots do not form.
Blood clots are clumps of blood cells that can block the normal flow of blood.
Aspirin should not be given to children or teenagers.
This is because a very serious illness called Reye's Syndrome can occur if aspirin is used when children have some viral diseases.
Stomach upset and gastrointestinal bleeding are side effects that can happen to persons taking aspirin.
It is very important to notify a healthcare provider if they occur.
Try to take aspirin with food and a glass of water or milk.
Aspirin can cause trouble breathing, itching, or other symptoms of allergy in a few people.
Always discuss allergies or other medications with your doctor, before starting on aspirin.
Notify your doctor if there is no relief from pain or joint swelling in 5 to 10 days, or in 3 days if there is no fever relief.
Cortisone, Steroids or Corticosteroids :
The medicines known as corticosteroids (also called steroids or cortisone) are like the body's natural hormone cortisol.
Cortisol helps to control the immune system, body metabolism, and our response to stress.
When taken as medications, the corticosteroids have two main effects.
They reduce inflammation and suppress the immune system.
The type of preparation advised by a doctor will depend on the condition being treated.
Corticosteroids can be taken orally, injected, put on the skin, inhaled, or taken rectally.
Other than mild forms used as skin creams, corticosteroids require a prescription.
The most common oral form is prednisone.
Corticosteroids are prescribed for many conditions,
If you are not sure why you are taking one, ask your doctor.
Common conditions treated with these drugs include: Steroids - Indications
Asthma, Chronic lung disease , Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, Colitis, Psoriasis
Some allergic conditions : Corticosteroids are also used with other immune suppressing medications, after organ transplants.
When inhaled or placed on the skin, the corticosteroids have few side effects. However, when taken orally for long periods of time, these medications can cause serious problems. Depending on the condition being treated, the dose of corticosteroid may fluctuate or remain constant.
Steroids - Side Effects
Changes in appearance such as rounding of the face, facial hair growth in women, and obesity, Thinning of the skin, stretch marks, and easy bruising
Changes in body minerals, especially potassium,Increased risk of certain types of infections, such as yeast or fungal infections
Increased blood sugar
Your risk of these side effects depends on the dose and length of corticosteroid therapy as well as your medical history and conditions.
Although these drugs can cause many side effects, they can be very effective and even lifesaving.
If you should develop some side effects, never stop taking the medication.
Call your doctor for instructions. Patients taking corticosteroids for prolonged periods will require a gradual reduction in dose before stopping the treatment.

Arthritis diet

Take fruits and vegetables in the form of salads

The diet of an arthritis patient should be planned so as to produce alkalinity in the blood. It should include fruits and vegetables in the form of salads, and, at least, two cooked vegetables. In severe cases, it would be advisable to put the patient on raw vegetable juice therapy three times a day, for about a week. Repeated juice fasts are recommended at intervals of every two months.

Other Arthritis treatments

Keep body warm, don't bandage joints

The body should be kept warm at all times . Joints should not be bandaged tightly as this limits movement and interferes with the free circulation of blood.
Take rest, should have plenty of indirect ventilation

There should be plenty of indirect ventilation in the bedroom. Rest is advised when there is acute inflammation in the joints.
Sea bathing

Sea bathing has been found valuable in arthritis. The natural iodine in sea water is said to relieve arthritis pain. As is well known, Iodine regulates the acid-alkaline balance in the blood and tissues, helps to repair and regenerate worn out tissues and nourishes the skeletal structure. It enters into the thyroid gland's secretion. The hormone uses the iodine to cleanse the internal toxins. If sea bathing is not possible, the patient should relax for thirty minutes every night in a tub of warm water, in which a cup of common salt has been mixed. The minerals in the salt, especially Iodine, will be absorbed through the pores of the skin. This will help correct an internal imbalance

Diet for kidney stones

Avoid foods like alcoholic beverages; condiments and pickles; certain vegetables like cucumber, radish.

A patient with kidney stones should avoid foods, which irritate the kidneys, to control acidity or alkalinity of the urine. He should also ensure adequate intake of fluids to prevent the urine from becoming concentrated. The foods considered irritants to the kidneys are alcoholic beverages; condiments and pickles; certain vegetables like cucumber, radish, tomato, spinach, rhubarb; those with a strong aroma such as asparagus, onion, beans, cabbage, and cauliflower; meat and gravies; and carbonated waters.
Intake of calcium and phosphates should be restricted

For controlling the formation of calcium phosphate stones, the intake of calcium and phosphates should be restricted. Foods which should be avoided are wholewheat flour, Bengal gram, peas, soyabean, beet, spinach, cauliflower, turnips, carrots, almonds, and coconuts. When stones are composed of calcium, magnesium phosphates, and carbonates, the diet should be so regulated as to maintain an acidic urine. On the other hand, the urine should be kept alkaline if oxalate and uric acid stones are being formed. In the latter case, fruits and vegetables should be liberally used, and acid-forming foods should be kept to the minimum necessary for satisfactory nutrition. In case of uric stones, foods with a high purine content such as sweet breads, liver, and kidney should be avoided.
Take a low-protein diet and have liberal intake of water

The patient should take a low-protein diet, restricting protein to one gram per kilogram of food. A liberal intake of fluid upto three litres or more daily is essential to prevent the precipitation of salt into the form of stones.
