Though some trials for Hot air ballooning have taken place in the valley, the sport still continues to be very rare.

Hot air ballooning along the valleys of Suru and Zanskar an prove very challenging. This challenging sport is still unaccepted in the valleys of Kashmir.

Kashmir's exciting topography allows adventure lovers to participate in as varied adventure activities as hot air ballooning and lots more.

Isn't it a great adventure?

The golf courses in Gulmarg are one of its kin and provide excellent opportunities and experience of golfing.

It is of the world`s highest green golf courses, as well as a clubhouse, which is a historical building in its own right. For the would-be golfer, there are golf sets on hire, pros to instruct one in the game, and temporary memberships. Naturally, these facilities are available to players as well, except that serious golfers usually carry their sets along....

Kashmir is a nice place for trekking, adventure and every time you go you will find something new to experience...

River Lidder is the ideal place for rafting. It is quite dangerous but a must try for adventure lovers.

The real ecstasy lies in rafting in river Zanskar, in Ladakh, which is considered to be a very ferocious river. Initially this river will appear very calm, and the pre conceived belief seems to be a little exaggeration, but with the course of time, encompassing the giant gorges, will reveal its true vehemence. This river course is strictly suitable for only the experienced and professional rafters.

Are there any new kind of adventures or hot air balooning (the view must be amazing!) in Kashmir?

I feel quite bored at times and want to explore some new things..
