Museums are the representation of a place and the culture of the local people in the region. Assam also has Museums which speaks and depicts age-old history since the time when Ahom rulers valiantly ruled Assam for centuries.

Assam is also rich in flora and fauna and one of the richest producers of tea,oil & natural gas and other petroleum products and agricultural produces. Agriculture is one of the prime occupation of the region. And all theseare evident in the Museums of Assam.
