First combination would be:-

Make a paste of dried red chillies, cummin seeds and vinegar and salt. Then apply it on the fish and fry either plain or you can dab it on rice powder or rawa

Either you can grind or mix chilli powder, cummin powder, vinegar and salt and apply over the fish and fry.

Second combination would be:-

Make a paste of cummin seeds, pepper, corriander seeds and vinegar and salt.

Third combination would be:-

Make a paste of ginger, garlic, chillies, corriander and lime juice and apply over the fish and fry.

Fourth combination would be:-

This can be used for prawns - Make a paste of chilli powder, turmeric, lime juice and salt. Marinate and before frying mix cornflour and fry.

Any other combination let me know.

We used to marinate fish with:-

Chilli powder, turmeric, salt, little curd, little lemon juice and ginger garlic paste

Sometimes we minus ginger-garlic paste instead add cumin & pepper powder..while cooking we add coarsely crushed ginger-garlic

Whereas for prawn we rarely marinate that too with lemon juice and turmeric alone..nothing else..as it consumes very less time for cooking we add then and then

For chicken my mom used to the same masala as i said for fish but instead of chilli powder we add combination of coriander leaves and green chilli paste (Makes the gravy green in color)
