Senior biologist charged with rape

Hello all,

Today I read this news and was a bit disturbed. Can you belive an educated person ( a senior biologist in Vandalur Zoo) was charged with Rape. It is very sad how they tricked the lady who was already being harassed by the autodriver.

Is there no end to this kind of violence. Such a shame.

Same way recent news is that a 34 year old PhD student from IIT Delhi has murdered a 19 yr old girl.I can't believe that he was a M.Sc graduate from IISC B'lore and now IIT scholar. Just bcoz one is educated doesn't mean, they will be a good human being.

that is true soumya.. its very shocking to hear that such a highly educated person from a reputed institue can commit such a heinous crime... why the hell these B***** not go to a prostitute? I read another news about Nayana pujari ... who was working in a software company in pune.... she was gangraped and murdered.... by her cab driver and security gaurd.,,,, i wish they all die..

Its very difficult to be a lady in the present social scenario of our country..Actually the parents of girls are living with a burdened heart now a days.What to say they even doesn't spare old ladies and not even a dead body.(Remember the murder and rape cases reported.)To avoid these crimes or reduce the rate our punishment modes are to be changed.As Nandhu said these criminals must be given the treatment given in Middle east in front of the public.They deserve no sympathy at all.

Even I have the same thoughts as Niveditha..Why don't these idiots go to "such" girls instead of troubling inncocent women.It is mandatory for women to know to defend themselves these days.
