Red face Is BJP Analyzing it's week points?

Jaswant Singh has been expelled. The only part that appeared puzzling to me was not expelling him when he gave a statement to NDTV saying "If we are back in power and if the Kandahar incident (plane hijacking) happens again then we will again free the terrorists for the people".

Nobody should forget that one of those terrorists has masterminded many gruesome nationwide bombings. This statement was before the elections after 26/11 but the party did not expel him then.

So why now? It seems they are throwing out all their weak points for presenting a safer party image. Do you think it will be beneficial?

Well to analyze their weak points, they will have to first realize what they are... BJP has no idea why did people rejected them, whatsoever... They keep going back and forth on things like terrorism, foreign policy and hindutva...

All these issues are so clost to people's heart that we can't afford to put a party in charge that just can't seem to stable itself on decision. One day they are secular, the other day are giving speeches that Muslims should go to Pakistan... What kind of crap is that????

In the current scenario when the whole world is reeling under recession and global terroism, such statements from BJP will only result in people losing confidence in that party. BJP already shot itself in the foot by making a scene outside Taj when the terrorists are still inside, concentrating only on negative publicity against congress but not telling what it plans to do if it is elected, etc. People are not ignorant as they used to be few years back.

In the previous elections, people were looking for a government which can bring India safely out of the dark times of recession. Which government is more more suited than one led by Dr. Manmohan Singh?

Regarding other aspects like corruption, poor power & infrastrucutre, Congress and BJP are equally bad.. So People chose best suited party in the worst economic scenario.

Cool Re: Is BJP Analyzing it's week points?

I think Dr. Manmohan Singh is the worst PM we ever had, BJP lost the elections because they were the ones who started the bus, train to pakistan. They resumed talks with the architect of Kargil War- Pervez Musharraf. Moreover, they left terrorists who played a major role in almost all the bombings and even 26/11 during the kandahar plane hijacking.

Dr. Manmohan Singh has failed to create a strong impression about our nation, in fact, in Cairo he played in the hands of Pakistan.

People like Jaswant Singh should have been thrown out much before when they made statements like "If we come to power again, we will leave the terrorists if the Kandahar incident is repeated."

On the other hand, what did Dr. Manmohan Singh do about irresponsible Mr. Antuley?
