Who am I? - Part II

Hi

I am Deepa and I live in Chennai. I am married to my MBA Sweetheart and have a son (6) and a daughter (4.5). I did work for 5 yrs as a HR prof and then quit to start a family and enjoyed nurturing them, Now I have taken a new turn in life and after childbirth experiences I have decided to become a Childbirth Educator. I am almost finishing my training and will shortly start childbirth classes. I am so excited to start that phase of my life. I also love dancing and love to perform when ever I get opportunities although thats very less. I will start postig on the pregnancy forum soon to share my experiences and information. Parenting also is quite challenging and I would to start interacting there also.

I became part of this community today online.
To tell you I a quite impressed. It's true warnin, that you get lost when you come to this site. I liked this site especially because I am of nature who is quite inquisitive and would like to gain information in various areas. What interested more in this site are the household Forums, like how to keep cotton and silk sarees, etc.

Now abt me, I am a Software professional, working is an MNC in Navi Mumbai.
My hobbies include, Shopping, Net surfing (that is how I ended up to this site).

I thank all the contributers to this site, and I will also keep posting in the various Forums here.

My name is Alpa Shah. Iwas born and brought up in Nairobi, Kenya. I am a 4th generation Gujrati staying in Nairobi. Icame to know about this site today and registered today.
