A bit of IL site training!! Please

Hi, I am new in IL. I have some basic questions. I couldn’t seem to find answers. If any of you can share your knowledge, it will be easier for me to get started here. Thanks

How do you keep track of your posts and replies to your posts?

Do all of you subscribe to the threads you are participating? How will you know when a thread/post you participated in (even long time ago) got comments?

How do you know when any of your posts has been nominated for the best post? Do you get an email?

What is a referral? Who refers and why? What does that do for me?

How do you manage your time efficiently with IL. From where I am looking you can spend your days away here, which I am guessing most of you don’t do. But I see many of you post many posts a day and advice/participate in detail in many places. How do you do that? Do you follow a schedule, a daily regimen?
