I am currently going thru the same issue myself. I met this guy last year May and things were going great between us. We were planning on getting married, but due to some family issues, I had to go out of country in September with my parents. He was reluctant as he thought my family will get me married. But I promised him that I will not get married. I kept my promise to him and returned back to States single. Few months later, he had to go to India to see his parents. He had promised me that he will not get married there and shall return and we will pursue our relationship leading to marriage. He got married in India and never told me, i found out thru his sister. When I questioned him, he denied that his not married. Going back and forth few times, he finally said his married. Very heart breaking as I stood by this guy thru all up's and down's. Dreamt of marrying him by end of this year. Question myself why did he put me thru all this heartache. What have I done to deserve this.....
Dear Payal,

Welcome to the IndusLadies community! I'm glad you already like the site so much.

Thanks for sharing your story with us. It is indeed heart breaking to meet people like this in our lives who break the trust that we place in them. If you share your experience in the http://www.indusladies.com/forums/singles-world/ section, I'm sure you'll find a lot of support from our members there who will help you in lessening your hurt.

It is never easy letting go but always, always remember, that God saved you from such a spineless and untrustworthy person. Imagine the plight of the woman he married. She is linked to such a jerk life long.

"When life doesn't follow our plan, rest assured it is following God's plan".

I'm sure you'll meet a much more deserving guy in the future and this episode will just make you appreciate him so much more...

take care,
love,
Aarushi

Hence I thought it will be good idea to join IL to get to know more abt the place and how to go about things.

I may have to go for my monthly check ups when in charlotte. Can any of you kindly help me on how to abt getting a doctor's appointment. How easy or difficult it is? Because I'm hearing various things from differently people and that really keeps me worried.
