My name is Jisha. I am from Nagercoil,TamilNadu. Now I am staying in Saudhi Arabia (Yanbu) with my family. I have a daughter (3yrs). I am an Advocate. After delivery I left my practice.
Now I am a full time Home-maker. I like cooking,trying new recipes. I also have interest in stiching,crafts and drawing. Here is a nice experience being a member in this IndusLadies Community.

Pessimists Vs Optimist

SOME PEOPLE ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE NEGATIVE
There was a hunter who bought a bird dog, the only one of its kind in the world. That could walk on water . He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw this miracle. At the
same time, he was very pleased that he could show off his new acquisition to his friends. He invited a friend to go duck hunting. After some time, they shot a few ducks and the man ordered his dog to run and fetch the birds. All day-long, the dog ran on water and kept fetching the birds. The owner was expecting a comment or a compliment about his amazing dog, but never got one. As they were returning home, he asked his friend if he had noticed anything unusual about his dog. The friend replied, "Yes, in fact, I did notice something unusual. Your dog can't swim." Some people always look at the negative side.

Who is pessimist?
Pessimists
~ are unhappy when they have no troubles to speak
~ feel bad when they feel good, for fear they will feel worse when they feel better
~ spend most of their life at complaint counters
~ always turn out the lights to see how dark it is
~ are always looking for cracks in the mirror of life
~ stop sleeping in bed when they hear that more people die in bed than anywhere else
~ cannot enjoy their health because they think they may be sick tomorrow
~ not only expect the worst but make the worst of whatever happens
~ don't see the doughnut, only the hole
~ believe that the sun shines only to cast shadows
~ forget their blessings and count their troubles
~ know that hard work never hurts anyone but believe "why take a chance?"

Who is an optimist?

Hello,
I am Payal from Los Angeles. Decided to become a member after reading all the heart-breaking stories others have been thru. One of the stories I was reading earlier how 'she was used by one of her close guy friends as a doormat'.
I am currently going thru the same issue myself. I met this guy last year May and things were going great between us. We were planning on getting married, but due to some family issues, I had to go out of country in September with my parents. He was reluctant as he thought my family will get me married. But I promised him that I will not get married. I kept my promise to him and returned back to States single. Few months later, he had to go to India to see his parents. He had promised me that he will not get married there and shall return and we will pursue our relationship leading to marriage. He got married in India and never told me, i found out thru his sister. When I questioned him, he denied that his not married. Going back and forth few times, he finally said his married. Very heart breaking as I stood by this guy thru all up's and down's. Dreamt of marrying him by end of this year. Question myself why did he put me thru all this heartache. What have I done to deserve this.....
