I found this IL site very interesting and informative. After registering, I came to know the site privileges that I have to post at least 50 to download the attachments. Little disappointment but I will try my best to meet the requirements. Nice to join you all. Cheers! Sridevi.

It was so friendly and had the typical Indian warmth in it so it really encouraged me to register. Now i hope i can make good friends on line and share thoughts on many topics.Let me begin by introducing myself.
I hail from Bangalore (Now it is Bengaluru)- Karnataka and settled in Singapore from past 10 yrs. I have done my BA from NMKRV collage in Bangalore. I would like to know if any of you studied from that collage during 1990-1993.
I am a home maker ( I disagree with the word House -Wife ) but looking for some work to do from home. I have 2 kids 11 and 6 yrs old so i would like to stay home to care for them, but at the same time i think it is very important for women to be independent( financially and generally ) and in sink with the fast changing world.

I am more artistically inclined. I do oil Paintings, art works, I have acted in dramas and directed a few as well. I also take Balvihar classes at home teaching Shlokas, Bhajans, Mytological stories, Indian traditions, their meaning & significance, to children from 4 yrs to 11 yrs. I think it is important for our children to know and appreciate, the rich indian ( be it north or south) cultural and i hope they will carry it forward.

Regards
Lakshmi

6.Be quiete when u have problems.Even u have 100 close persons to listen your problems, dont share anything with any anyone. No matter how close they are to u.
7.U dont go in search of anyone and dont build any relationship with anyone. Some people may enter ur life and they may come in ur way themselves.like parents, brother and it may b outside persons also.U just "RESPOND" them but dont expect from them.
8.Devote most of the time by thinking only about God.Strictly DONT THINK ABOUT ANY OF THE HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS.
9.Keep Ur Mind Free from Thoughts.
a) Respond properly to the persons who come in ur way.
b) Keep Ur mind filled with Thoughts about God and then remember ur Duties&Responsibilities.
c) Think urself as an Individual and think that ur only relation is God.Be a Daughter to a Mother,Be a Wife to ur Husband, like that understand whom u r to others and perform ur role properly.Dont get drowned in any relationship.Always Remember that U are an Individual and ur only relation is God.

dont bother urself by thinking about ur future.just live the moment..in the gud way which is possible for u.

Dear Thejaswi,
A good intelligent person has a shine both inside his body and outside his body. The shine is outside it's called Thejas. When it's in it's called ojas. The outer shine is only a reflection of inner shine, so say our shastras. Just an explanation of your beautiful name.
Welcome to IL.
I did not know that you had written about me here. I just saw the thread accidentally.
Thanks for all the nice words you have about my writings, Thejaswi. Please do read my work and leave your comments.
And one more thing, never lose heart. You are going to be a great artist. You are now being prepared for that role. This is the time you need to be patient while keepingthe fire within you intact.
wish you best of luck,
regards,
