Who am I? - Part II

Hi all,

My name is laxmi. I am staying in doha and have been here for a week or so. My kids are studying in DMIS. MY husband is working with Tasweeq a govt company.

Like all the new comers, i also want to know more about places where we can get south indian items. And also will like to know the places of interest and beauty saloons if any. It would be really nice if someone of you who knows more about the place can help me.

Hello everybody,
I came to know about IL just today while browsing google to find out stitching instructions for saree blouse. I am a Ph.D graduate from US currently working in cancer research area in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Recently I developed interest into sowing and had stitched few simple things from the patterns available at walmart. Now I wanted to learn stitching saree blouses and saIwars. I found this IL site very interesting and informative. After registering, I came to know the site privileges that I have to post at least 50 to download the attachments. Little disappointment but I will try my best to meet the requirements. Nice to join you all. Cheers! Sridevi.
