Who am I? - Part II

Hi folks,

Am Padma from Chennai.A friend of mine told me about Indusladies and I got myself registered upon her advice.I find the site very interesting and hope to find some new friends here.Am a housewife and this site will help me leverage on some of my interests through its community network.Am presently looking for an alliance for my older daughter (in the Tamil - Iyer community).If any of you have an eligible son older than 26,please let me know

My hobbies are painting, singing, watching T.V, Chating with friends.

About me- I am based in bangalore, a house-executive and mother of 3 yr old beautiful twins. whenever my kids go on an afternoon nap, i get browsing.I am an MBA and have a working experience of about 5 yrs in banking and 3 yrs in advertising. Quit work when I became a mom. Kids have started pre-school. So looking at options to get back to work. Maybe work from home or part-time. Not getting any ideas at the moment. Everything interests me..... painting, music, writing essays,debates,counselling,stocks,cooking, stitching,reading,gardening....anything that keeps me active and stimulated. Life's been good so far and expecting it to be even so and yes i have found a new interest...indusladies.

My name is Varshini, and I live in Houston TX with Hubby .. Been in the US for 3 years now, and work for Lyondell.
I joined Indusladies in 2006 , but have been so inactive that my ID expired. Thanks to indus for pulling me back to the groove, and I hope I will be able to be a part of you all and also make new friends along the way !

Basically I am from chennai, and speak tamil at home. Also talk hindi and see hindi movies too ! Good to be a part of this forum !

Its a nice feel to be part of this global community. I have travelled for the last 20 years 3 of which we have been here in Melbourne with a hope to settle down permanently. I have a wonderful family, husband and 2 teenage daughters.I love writing, teaching, cooking and travelling.
