Hi everybody,

My name is Mrs.Virmati Jivani.I am basically from Mumbai and settled in dubai.I do a lot of hobby work in making small handicrafts like keychains etc.I also recycle leftover handmade invitation wedding invitation cards into making gift tags etc.In short I like creativity.Thats my hobby profile.Otherwise I like to see good movies surf on the net and make a lot of good friends.

HI, I am Vijaya. Born in Kerala (Edapal)..now living in Mumbai since 30 years. Working in a Pharma company in a middle management level.. have a married daughter (and a darling granddaughter) and a son who is studying Engineering.
Mother tongue Malayalam, but quite proficient in Tamil too.
Loves to read and travel. I
I have small group of women friends and we go on week end picnics atleast once in 3 months.. and just freak out !!

I find this site totally different from other such groups with lots of fellowship, useful information, guidance .. just like a joint family with all your favourite aunts, chechis, etc.

How i came to know abt Indus Ladies, well that's a bit long story
I bought a Anchor Stitch Kit in 2005 when i was pregnant, I m yet to finish it. My boy is going to be 2 this June!!!!
So i thought of finishing it now. When i took it out i found i need some more threads to complete it.
So, i was hunting for a thread store where i can get MAdura Coats threads. I came across a post giving Raja Thread House address in Tnagar.
Thats it, i found this site interesting and now i m in it

I have been in US for past 2 yrs. I came to US after marriage. As I was newly married so 1 yr passed so nicely but past one year I have been trying to find a job here but because of Visa issues could not get anything and that how I came to know about this informative site. Right now I am volunteering in my local Library and looking forward to enter into a university for my PhD.
