Hello to all !!! My name is Girija & my hubby is Shiva. I am very young only 62 yrs old( young na) married ,settled in Bangalore. Native of Tanjore ,studied in Kalyanasundaram high school, . Then my family migrated from Tanjore to Bangalore in early 60s.i joined Hmtwf ,worked 38yrs, before I took VRS in 2000.i married a kannadiga , we speak kannada at home as my mother tongue is Tamil. My only daughter aged 26 yrs married and settled in Brussels, Belgium. We have all the Indian languages -speaking -people at our family. My daughter's MIL is maharashtrian and Her (Daughter's) sister in law married an Iyer and they spoke Hindi at home. One of my son in law's cousin married a Malayali. Our marriage was inter-caste marriage in 1965
About My husband: he was my colleque r.
now I am continuing my education -I joined - Msc. Psychology in Annamalai University. My only hobby is -study-study -till my end . I love everything, hate only politics. I love collecting folk songs from different countries, various languages. Reading books in Tamil, English & Hindi. I just joined a course in Astrology. Trying to learn Malayalam, Marathi. . My other interests are Travelling,watching sky, small babies,Soundarya leharii Sloka.
My only ambition is - want to do a course in Harvard University.
I love to listen songs -old Hindi film, Tamil English. hope one day i will enter in Harvard University.

Hello IL,I got to know about IL today only and registered today to join you all. I'm living in Muscat since 11 yrs with my family that consist of my husband and 3 kids. IL seems to be very interesting n informative site.My hobbies are cooking and chatting. i'm interested to learn stitching n i was searching for some free stuff. I'm glad to be part of you all.

Hiya all,

After months of researching on the internet i finally came to one site which is very informative on chennai.

I was born in virudhunagar, lived in mumbai, sydney and singapore. I plan to go back to india next year for my kids education. I have 2 boys aged 4 and 3. I am living in singapore for the past 7 years, having lived before in other cities.

My wife is a housewife and she takes care of the kids. I am doing my MBA right now, and plan to finish it shortly and move back to chennai. I do visit chennai a lot due to my transit to virudhunagar. Chennai has changed a lot, but still i find it more happening than bangalore. My eldest son is studying in Global Indian International School, Singapore. My second son is attending childcare. I am living in singapore at present time.

That's my 2 cents of intro.
