Who am I? - Part II

My name is Rathi. I came to know this forum through my friend. This is an informative and useful forum for ladies. Hence I joined this forum.

And about me: I got married last June, and came to US with my husband. Here I don't have work permit. Hence trying to spend time to do and learn some useful things. I think this forum will make to do so.

Hello Ladies,
I am a new member on this site. I live in Houston, Texas, with my family of 6 including myself. We are originally from Kenya (E.Africa) and moved here 6 years ago.
I love to try out new recipes, however, I must say I am a LOUSY cook! I love to read fiction, am an incurable romantic and weepy when I watch sad movies! I cry bucketfuls whenever I watch KKKG and KHNH! My children like to watch me instead of the movie!
I like to draw henna designs on hands and feet but sadly dont know how to do good designs and when I googled for designs I came upon this site and found it pretty interesting. Hope we all have a good relationship!
By the way I also like to do needlepoint embroidery and if anyone out there has got good designs and the knowhow, I would love to learn.
Its nice to know that there are so many members all from different parts of this small world.

Hi All,
I'm Latha from Singapore and I will be moving to Melbourne this month-end on a business visa (Visa 457). I will be working in the CBD area and would like to know if St Kilda is a good location. Also my son is Grade 5 and would like to enroll him to Grade 6 next year. Can you please suggest if there any good schools around St Kilda. I hear Melbourne Grammar is a good school. Is it a private school?
I would also like to get information like whether there is an online grocery to order Indian groceries? Any advise will be welcome.
