Hi everybody,

I just got hooked onto this site a couple of days ago, when searching for gifts to take to India. It is a pleasant surprise to see so many active bloggers and creative writers in this forum. I am not a natural writer and it takes inhuman effort to draft my letters. Neverthless, I was intriguied and decided to join.

I am Jyothi, a 30 -year old doctor, working in Boston, MA, happily married to raj, also a doctor . I am a mud-blood( half Tamil, half Telugu).

I have lived 90 % of my life in Chennai, more specifically K.K.Nagar. I worked briefly in ahmedabad, before moving to the US. I never had the chance to see visit places, although I love reading, travel, food and arts.

hello everyone,

im vidhya, a tamilian living in hongkong... joined the forum today. whenever i searched for any info on anything related to india and indians, indus ladies came up with answers....so here i am....
im an architect(was practising in chennai) married a merchant navy captain and sailed around the world for 3 yrs...now we are settled in HK, am at home presently with the full time job of taking care of my 13 months old daughter uma.
will post lots of dumb questions soon!
