i am girija raghavan from chennai,India.
i am so thrilled to know a site like this!
I am a journalist and a television producer.
i make programmes for women and also i run a magazine for women.
my passion is media and through that interacting with women.
also i like to listen to music and to cook.
i am here to gather and to share any information needed for women from chennai
my son is at boston employed there.i travel widely and whereever possible i meet differnt kind of forums for women.

ya, being near a library is a great advantage...am sure since you like reading, you'll love all the good to read stuff we have in IL too... :)

Its great to join this site. i am sushma(28 yrs) living in UK with hubby and daughter gayatri (4)and another one on the way, due in oct, currently browsing the net is what i do most, i love reading recipes and about becoming a mom again, u girls out there pls help me suggestions to look after the new baby which is coming this oct. though i have gone thru this one's, i am worried if i will be a good mom all over again, i especially want to know how give a bath to new born in a bath tub.

I am new to the forum. Married, working in the Quality department, presently staying in porur, chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

I have 5 year old boy. Husband in Airforce.

I need some information. I am joining in the IT company in sirucherry(Have no idea about where it is). I want to shift my house. Can anyone tell me what is the near by place to sirucherry, where I can get decent rental accomodation? Then, my son is in CBSE I std, so Is there any good CBSE schools around that area? To join in the next academic year, when I should approach the schools for admission?

Can anyone give me some details on house, school, Rent(2 BHK), distance...etc.

Please.. I would appreciate your response.

I am new to the forum. I came down to US on H4 recently. I was happy to go through the forum, as this might solve everyones problem.

To introduce myself, My name is Sheetal and have been married for past 2 yrs. I have come from Bangalore where i was working with SAP global delivery. I have 3 yrs of exp in HR and wanted to know if there are any Indian companies where i can get an opportunity to work/ Work from home. I am currently residing in Ambler,PA.
