This is sushma here,i started doing embroidery on sarees and salwar i just wanna know how to use colour combination so can i get some books on it . can u send the books for the embroidery as i dono where i can fetch them but i want real trendy embroidery books.

if it is light colour material u can go for dark threads n beads or wat eva
i mean u can use contrasing colours
else u can go for the same colour as of that of th ematerial
it will look gorgeous

i am new to this site,now i m n chennai....next month i m getting married and later i will b flying to Virginia(US). As i will b new to the place ...please ladies in US, guide me what i must carry to US for running a family...

From dress to kitchen utensils and any other things which is not available in US need to carry from india....

hello dear ladies,bbefore getting in to the matter let me introduce my self I am mrs Leenanair native of kannur but settled in kochi my hus is doctor and my self is a engineer in chemical I have two boys are studying my father was the retd justice from high court of kerala my brother is an engineer. I am doing some social activites for those who are suffering for food and cloths for that I made an organization and we are helping people.
This august 2008 we are planed to give 5kg rice to five thousand family those who are deeply eligible for this the servey was done and the list is shortlisted but while shortlisted it is very difficult to avoid any body so if possible we wants to make it as tenthousand family as per the present rate it may cost more than 8 lakhs.If any body is interested we never insist any body they can cotribute in this .for this no ploitices
If any body is interested please inform we are not looking for big amount contribute very small amount they can.

I have joined IL quite some time back.I am living in Malaysia.Married and gifted with a daughter who is 4 years old now.I am attached to Education Dept.I love listening to musics,reading health magazines and also travelling.

Hello IL. This is Mekala from Coimbatore. Though I joined in IL before 3 months only today I am accessing the site.

I am married and have a daughter by name Kaavya who is now doing her 12th STD.
My husband is in the printing industry business and I am also working in a pvt firm

My hobbies are reading, listening to music, chatting on various subjects with my daughter who is my very best friend ,surfing the net, gardening. I love Roses and do have a rose garden at home. I also love to collect receipes for experimenting.
