Who am I? - Part II

hi all
i joined the indus ladies today. i stay in abu dhabi, uae. was born and brought up here. did my graduation and pg in mysore.
i am basically from kerala(calicut).
i am married and have a toddler girl. i work at a reputed hospital here...
hoping to have good and informative interactions out here....and if anybody needs real help in this place i can try and do my best as i ahave been here almost all my life!

I was just surfing and just came across this site. Seems to be very interesting and informative and just registered. I am in the US for 2yrs + and am a homemaker, most of the time busy with my 2 toddlers aged 4.5 and 2.5 yrs. I love music, fabric painting and scrapbooking( a hobby i developed after comming to the US) I also love decorating the house. I am a Post-Graduate in Commerce from Hyderabad, AP. My husband is in the IT and every 6-8 months we keeping moving around because of his projects.

I am on H4 and just want to make some money while at home. I want to try something like catering on a small scale i.e. catering to the needs of Indian guys who normally do not cook at home or may be cook some Indian food for the Indian stores etc., and my husband says U are not supposed to do anything which would enable u to earn income and that is illegal. Can someone tell me if I could do something like that if yes how to I proceed.

Hello everyone!

I am 25 yrs old and it hasnt been long since I came to the US.After the initial excitement of coming here was over, I started getting a little bored at home not knowing what to do.After browsing through the net for a long long time looking for making friends who are in a similar position like me,I accidently stumbled upon this site and was thrilled to find other women in H4 status discussing about how to consructively fill up all the spare time etc.

I think this is a brilliant site for bringing together so many women and giving them a chance to discuss about almost any topic under the sun.

I love cooking fancy dishes,dancing,listening to music,and shopping .I am pretty artistic as well.

I hope this sheds some light about the kind of person that I am!
