hi all!
i am Rinky, who is crazy about crafts like Knitting,crochet,embroidery,sewing and other hand crafting. i love to use these craft in different way than traditional.

I am Maya from Trivandrum, Kerala, India. I am a housewife and a mother of a 3 year old boy.

I love cooking, gardening, glass painting, crafts, stitching etc. I came to know about the site while I was searching for embroidery instructions.

I saw on our local television one lady doing embroidery work as wall hanging using ordinary sewing machine. Could any body please give instructions in doing that. It was really interesting. I own only an ordinary machine. I tried in it but finding it difficult to get the initial stitches.

Anywyas, I am a Fashion Designer based in India retailing my own pret line under th brand name 'Aeshane' by Neesha Amrish to high profile stores across India like Studio Saks, Chennai, Elahe -Banjara Hills Hyderabad and Mogra - Leela Palace Bangalore. I specialize in timeless and classic Indian Ethnic pieces including Bridal and Fusion Wear. I play a lot with flowy fabrics like silks and georgettes to Benarasi’s, Brocades and Khadi and derive a lot of my inspiration from them. My latest collection titled ‘Drama’ has already hit stores (I can post pics if anybody is interested). My design sensibilities also lure me towards modernizing and reviving the ancient arts of Hand Block Printing and intricate craftsmanship. Articles about my garments have been featured in leading dailies like ‘The Hindu’ and ‘The Indian Express’, besides due to appear in ‘The Femina’ .
