When I was at School the word Indus attracted me a lot , Whe I came to know about the Indusladies through web with out a second thought I logged in as a member , Its really informative at all aspects and Indusladies are mostly - the way I like it. I am Chitra Senthilkumar got married on Feb 01 -07.

I live in Chennai for past Three months , My home town is the beautiful Niligris, I missssss my place a lot....... I am a graduate in MA Engligh Lit with IATA and Travel Managment .I am running a Travel Agency in the Name of Tour Shopperss , I love my Business a lot , When I was in 8th standard the word Entrepreneur in Economics attracted and inspried me a lot , That why I am a bussiness women TODAY.

I love gardneing , bit cooking, keeping the house very clean in traditional manner, reading new women and readers digest without fail and Travellers Toady magazine too for my Business,surfing net and as per time left watching TV especiallyl Travel and Living. I love travelling and exploring some new destination.

My Husband has finished catering so at Cooking we both enjoy Kitchen a lot , trying new recipes , my grandma's recipes and different type of Soup's etc .

I am Modern and at the same time I am religious toooo I belive in god a lot and I follow all our religious formalities , My day starts from early morning supbrabatham and Kolam . prayers with slokas and the days go on and on.

Hello to all reading this

I came across this site a couple of weeks ago while searching for punjabi suit patterns. Going deeper into the forums I found so many different subjects being discussed and this is all very interesting because some of the advice is from first hand experience.

I live in the UK with my husband and three sons and a very busy life...so busy that it disconnects you from your culture and practical advise.

I would like to at some stage contribute my two-pence worth and maybe also seek advice from you all.

Hi everybody,

I have just registered for Indus Ladies,

I am a 55year old lady and have just receintly moved to Scotland for my health, I am a cronic asthmatic and living in London for most of my life have suffered with the pollution, I have been here for 9 weeks now and have not used my asthma pumps half as much as I would have in London England, so Scotland is great for me, I am actually living a better life.

I am happily married to Terry we have been married for 36 years, it will be 37 this September, I love cooking, reading, walking my little west highland terrier, gardening my ambition is to write a book, but not sure what to write about or how to go about it, I am reading a book at the moment that hopefully will give me some insight in how to get going.

I have two children, Lisa my daughter lives in Moray in Scotland, and my son Terry live in Gillingingham, I am a very very proud grandmother of a saucy cheeky sweet grand daughter who is 4 years old. I dont get to see her much but we talk on the phone and I get loads of pictures from my son.

I am now retired my hubby wants me to stay at home and improve my health, if and when I want to work he says thats up to me.

I have always worked in an office and did Exports for 20 years filling 20' and 40' containers destined for USA and Canada, and Australia, (not personally) I then worked for the Council in my area looking after council tenants wanting to purchase their homes.

Well thats enough about me.

I am Dhanashri. Came to US some 8 years ago. Mother of 2 daughters 3.5 & 1.5yrs.
Working fulltime as a software professional.

We are planning to r2i in 2010 probably to Pune. I am from Bombay and hubby is from Nagpur. I was working in Pune before coming here.

I came across this website while googling. Very glad to read some posts/info shared by other ILs.
