Who am I? - Part II

Hi, My name is Gayatri and happened to chance upon this website while googling for "gundu mallis". I find this to be an interesting and informative site.
My family of four is settled in Chandler AZ . If I am not busy chauffering my kids :) to their activities, then you can find me gardening or cooking or involved in some craft activities. I am a beginer gardener and looking for ideas and inputs as to what grows well here in the southwest.

hi friends,
i am vidhya. married and have a 5 yr old kid.working in mumbai. impressed by the threads discussing how to manage work and home . can uplz give me chitvish link mentioned there which gives tips for microwave cooking and jiffy cooking. bought a new microwave - a convection one. but doesn't know how to use it. will be helpful if somebody shares how to make our south indian daily cooking with it? is it really faster than our gas stove? lots of doubts reg the same. pllllz help

This Suma nair, my actual name is Jiti but I don't like this name , I am comfortable with my pet name Suma. I was born and bought up in Mumbai, I am 37yrs old. I did my schooling from St. Charles [Santacruz] and my graduation from R.D.National college Bandra. I did my diploma in Early childhood care and education from S.I.E.S, Sion. I worked as a pre-primary teacher for 3yrs in Mumbai.

I have 2 kids, my daughter is in her 12th grade and son in 10th grade. I am right now in Sharjah [U.A.E] I am a very dedicated housewife and believe that the more you do good to others the more you come closer to god, just praying and lighting lamps does not bring you closer to god, its just the good deeds which god and humanbeings remember. I love cooking and doing art work.

Whenever i used to see my daughter chatting with her friends on the net, browsing through face book i used to feel jealous as i have no links about my school or college friends. I felt very lonely at times and thought why there is no place for ladies like me. I came across Indus Ladies and now i am very happy and can boast in front of my daughter. I am very happy to have come across you all friends and hope to continue this friendship forever.
