Welcome to Indusladies! On reading your intro, the first thing that impressed is you seem to be a very balanced and content lady, happy at work and home, happy with all loved ones near. You lead a charmed life and may it continue. We all enjoy interacting in the IL platform. And I am sure you will find many topics of interest and please post often too. If you love to read, please visit the forum Good to Read. The sub forum with scintillating articles by Cheeniya is a sure enjoyable read. I am Sowparnika. Am basically from Chennai, a staunch mylaporean displaced due to marriage ! I am 26, going on 27…! I’ve been married for two years, and spent a good part of it shuttling back and forth between Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai, following my husband wherever his projects took him. Landed up in the US just a couple of months back, and am just getting used to life here…as yet another addition to the great Indian diaspora..!!

Am generally a happy go lucky person, taking life as it comes…I enjoy books, travel, photography,nature, melodious music, people with a sense of humour, being with my friends(which I now miss!), and………I am a big time sleeper…I love my siestas…they are my unbeatable antidote to boredom..!!(next to google, of course !)

Well, I am at a loss to describe myself more…(the more I ponder about it, the more I realise that I am yet to know myself fully….)and like Mrs Sunkan( in her “who am I” post), was just thinking that the title sounded like the soul searching of Ramana Maharishi…I just happened to see her post and was happily surprised to see that the exact same thought had crossed someone else’s mind…!!

I stumbled upon IL accidentally, and, I’m loving it! Interesting, Inspiring, and a great platform for all those want to voice their thoughts…and a great help when you are in need of advice about anything under the sun…!!

Yes, IL is a great forum when you want to know something, when you need a supportive shoulder, when you need to rave and rant, or at times when you just want to find a friend to talk to. Thanks a lot for your imediate response.I guess IL has already been encroaching into my siestas for the past few days....if am getting a dark circle under my eye, i'm blaming it on IL ! :)

I am Meera, currently I am placed at Melbourne Australia but originally from Chennai,India.My hobbies are singing, watching movies,painting. I found Indusladies while searching for good schools in Chennai. I find IL to be very interesting and it is heartening to know how much helpful information can be obtained if sought. I have an eight year old daughter. I am planning to return to Chennai.Can any one let me know about schools in and around Pallikaranai/Jalladampettai area?
