Who Am I? - Part I

Hi all,

I am a new member of IL. My name is Lakshmi a housewife with two little children (3 and half & 16 months). My husband is an IT guy. I am very glad that I am also part of this wonderful community. Actually I registered long time back but lost my activation email so I was not able to log on for over 4 months. Nevertheless I am here now Please, accept me in your community as a member.

I would like to thank Vidhya for the Sundaragandam slokam.

hi Payal.My name is Tanvi and i joined IL yesterday.I read about you and wanted some suggestions.I am looking out for some frelance job from home.Can you help me with this? Even I was working before marriage but had to quit as my mother-in-law was not well.She passed away last month but i am pregnant and so I don't want to start working again at this point of time.So i am loking for out for some home based jobs maybe freelance recruitment or something else that you might be aware of.Please let me know if you have any ideas.

I'm Padmaja.I was born and raised in Andhra Pradesh.
I did my BDS in Mangalore(KMC) and moved to the US 8 yrs ago(yes ofcourse, through marriage).I live in Lowell,Massachusetts.I have 2 children.5 yr and 2 yr old.
After i had kids,i took a jump in career and pursued Health Care Management and have been working part-time at UMass in School of Health and Environment.I plan to continue working part-time for as long as i think it is needed.I'm a multitasker and i'm proud to be one.
I love music,reading,travelling,trying out new recipes,exchanging thoughts with people.I am a great listener,i guess i'm better at it than talking,i'll be happy to keep it that way.

Hi Padmaja - as moms, we are all multi-taskers, aren't we?? I dont think it is an option! Glad that you could join us. Check out the various sub forums we have and hope you can contribute your thoughts in the health care field.
