Who Am I? - Part I

Hi Friends,

My name is Jayani...born and bought up in Hyderabad. Got married (my loving husband!!) and now living in USA (Albany, NY).
Today afternoon when I found this site on Google, I instantly felt like joining. I love making friends, sharing recipies and other great ideas and I felt this is a wonderful and decent site to do so, hence I am here. I wish and hope, to make a lot of friends and widen my knowledge about everything.

I am gandhimathi,born and brought up in Erode,tamilnadu.recently we have shifted our family to hyderabad. i did M.E. in computer science.previousley i was working as a lecturer in an engg college in Erode.but i quit that job as we shifted to hyderabad.
i have two sons ,elder in IX and younger in III.
i love learning.now i did a course in ABAP and looking for a job.
i like to raise my children as scientists .
i want to be a good mother for them always.
i am interested in new receipes to attract my kids.
i like to be friendly with you all.

Looks like you have been here awhile, and just now got around to introducing yourself. I am Part Bangalorean too( did my schooling there). Nice to read about your interests. We do have an active Hobbies and Crafts forums, and also a Kids corner where you can share works of your boys. Good luck to your son for his upcoming boards. Am sure you must be keeping busy with him for that.

Hi to all ILITES,

I am Charu Chitthra, from Chennai, presently in Winnipeg, Canada, due to my husband's job. I am a siddha doctor. Graduated from Government siddha medical college, Chennai. I was practising and was also working as a sub editor in medical transcription until 5 months ago. Am happily married, with a daughter who is way too naughty for her one and half years.My husband is with IT field.My husband's job has brought me here to Canada 5 months ago and from then on am a stay-at-home mom.

My interests include reading (fiction &non fiction,poetry),cooking(I was never the cooking type, more the eating type, but once I started doing that I started loving it. Now am kinda obsessed with trying sumthing new.),watching movies, browsing. I am religious but not ritualistic and I belive that watever happens in my life is godsent, which include the gud and the bad. I do learn from my mistakes and so am happy for the down momemts too.

I am very much missing my professional life and dont feel complete without it.I would like to get back to India soon and start my own clinic. I want to be a gud carrier person and a great mom at the same time. I am thinking of my phase in life right now as a grooming phase to b wat i want. I landed up in this site searching for new recipes but the first thing I read here was a discussion (the best contribution of january 2008 by soaring spirit)and I knew this is the place I wud luv to be. You ppl are doing a great job. This is a very close knit and active forum and I very much love to be a part of it.I want to make some gud friends and also better my culinary skills.

I was very excited to read that u r from erode since my birthplace is the same.I don"t remember anything about erode except my childhood memories upto the age of 5 when i used to visit my grandparents during summer holls.
My memory is more of this large spacious house with so many uncles and aunts and cousins.
