| Hai Blondie, First of all I apologise for replying so late. I had not seen the replies to my message till now . Anyway thank you so much for the reply. I do have Indira's e-mail address and I contact her whenever I have any doubts about the recipes. Because I am learning cooking only now and am learning everything from scratch now. She is one of the best cooks that I have seen. I have visited sailu's kitchen also, but mostly I follow Indira's recipes. Recently I did Gutti Vankaya and I spoiled it thoroughly. Gravy was fantastic, but brinjals would not get cooked even after 5 whistles. God knows what was the reason. I cooked only those stuffed brinjals seperately in the oven afterwards and inspite of that the stuffing inside the brinjals was intact (it didn't get cooked). I cannot tell you how much pathetic it got because I was so hungry that day that I could have eaten plain rice. To add to it, gravy was fantastic, but brinjals was still raw - Imagine. Somehow I managed that day. I hope I can do better next time.Thank you again for the reply. Amitha Quote:
