Very nice to receive the first response to my thread. I'am feeling really grt to be in the discussion forum. I will also post some threads in the subgroup as well. However, what do you think about the lifestyle in singapore. How much in an average do we need for a month's expense......, For what salary do you think we could join any school...Pls let me know some details abt singapore. I'am very much clueless...

That's cool landing . Welcome to IL. Reading and visiting coffee shops that is what we did in our age too dear. So just enjoy them once you start your job and other professional activities you might get less time visiting the coffee shops. I hope you will get much more recipes here for you to enjoy. Its a great pleasure for me to include myself in this unique community, unique because in this so called mans world to find a corner to nurture fruitful relations with members of the same gender where there is no bias and to be able to openly and wisely communicate is an exciting feeling.

To brief you about me, I am Devika my last name Menon suggests that I am from South, Kerala to be specific. I was born and brought up in Mumbai and so call this my home.

I am married with three wonderful children and am a career woman . I run my own institute , that deals with women. I teach communicaton, soft skill, etiquettes, Marketing and business strategies,personality development, makeovers, grooming all under one roof that is known by the name of Virtuosos. I was a student of Psychology, and have always been intrigued by human behaviour, analysing ,evaluating and putting a name for the different behavioural patterns of human behaviour.
My job involves meeting different people and it gives me immense pleasure when i am able to give a whole new perception of life to these ladies who come to me.

I believe in physical fitness, and to exercise, i find my fitness regime in doing household chores like sweeping , mopping washing drying cooking etc, I have never believed in hiring maids to do my work .i feel i can do more justice to my home than any maid.

The question frequently asked by my friends is:how do you find the time to do all this? My reply: Discipline! when you are systematic ,then you can do a lot 24 hours is a long time.

My hobbies include singing , shopping,reading and cooking apart from sudoku. At the risk of sounding immodest i must say that I am a fairly good singer. To unwind I find it very relaxing to be with my husband and kids discussing all the events of the day. My husband Shashi is my greatest friend, philosopher and guide. My kids ranging from post teen, teen to toddler are my support system always applauding my efforts in everthing i do. Boosting my confidence and perpetually pressurising me to take part in various contests et al.

i also am very fashion conscious and love to keep myself updated about all the current trends.

I love the concept of this community . Being a people's person I would love to interact with as many ladies as possible ,exchanging views and probably suggesting something worthwhile. Hope to find great people thru the same.!!!

I am Sunee and I hail from Coimbatore, TN. But, as many of U folks, I now reside in the land of opportunities- USA. I am married to a wonderful person and after honeymooning for a couple of years, I finally embraced motherhood in spring 2007. My bundle of joy is 6 months old now and is constantly reminding me of life's little pleasures.

To keep myself busy, I juggle family, work, house chores and college ( doing my masters).

I love to travel and I enjoy music and dance. I take special interest in cooking, gardening, painting and crafts. I love a good book and I am always ready for popcorn and a good/neat - "U" rated movie.
