| Hi All I am a new male member to this post as I am new to China. I work with a company in Guangzhou and have taken up this assignment after much deliberation and discussion. Its been 70 days since I came here and am slowly getting used to things here. I have figured out that it is extremely difficult to move around here and do shopping for even basic amenities. I feel that Indians here must be very close to each other as there arent many around. The most important and inaccessible thing for Indians here I feel is medical support in case of emergency. Could any of you let me know if you know any good doctors/hospital who speak English. My wife will be joining me here shortly and I think it is important to have all critical infor, ation before she comes. | Hello all, I found this community earlier this morning, while looking for vegetarian recipees. I am from the Netherlands, widowed recently. But life goes on, and since I have to take good care of myself now, I decided on vegetarian food only . I am very interested in India, and became a hindu. I try to learn hindi, which is not to easy if I say so. Well, this is in short who I am. Oh yes, hobbies: cooking, computer, reading, chatting on yahoo, listening to music, entertain friends, and most important are now my pets. warm greetings from a very rainy Netherlands, Betty |
