Who Am I? - Part I

I am Shanthirani, "Rani" to my parents and "Shanthi" to my in-laws and friends. I am a chemical engineer by profession/practice, obtained my degree from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchi. We have been living in Canada for about 10 yrs, 8 yrs in Toronto and for the past 2 years in Edmonton, well Sherwood Park, a small city close to the big city Edmonton. People know Edmonton better than Sherwood Park, so I simply say Edmonton. I work for a Petroleum Refinery.

About my family, I have my husband and 2 kids, one in Grade 8 (the girl) and the other in Grade 2 (the boy). My mom lives in India with my 2 younger brothers. My other brother lives in Washington, D.C with his family. My sis lives in Singapore with her family.

After our move to Edmonton, I have been looking to make some friends....so we can get together and talk about our country and cherish all those lovely days.

I miss our country so much.

I love to cook at home...I like to try new things. My friends and so does my husband say that I am a very good cook which motivates me to cook even better.

My name is sowmya Venkatesan and I live in Bur Dubai for the past 3 months. I am from chennai, Tamil nadu. I have lived thru all parts of India since I was young. I did my schooling in Delhi and my Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from Tamilnadu. After marraige lived in Mumbai , Delhi and Canada and have friends from each place. I am a very friendly person and like having lot of them too.
I am a house wife and have two kids(5yr old boy and 6 months old girl).My husband is an accountant, and we both love travelling around the world and get acquainted with different cultures.
Mostly I am engaged with my son who is very inquisitive and needs lot of my attention , now added to that is taking care of my little one too.so the little time I get , I spend my time editing fotos of my kids in various forms in my pc. I love cooking and my hubby is the one who made me love cooking by his love for different varieties of food of various parts of the world. I try ou mt hand in almost all food from Rajasthani, Gujarathi to lebanese to mexican and Italian on the vegetarian part .My son is a fan of my recipies and loves to eat home food rather than in restaurants. .

I have decided to take some time off from my working life due to health condition. My hobby is browsing, cooking, watching tv, etc etc. I have 3 lovely grown up daughters.

My name is Sindhu Jitesh and I am currently staying in Muscat. Im basically an Indian, a Keralite to be presice. My native place is Palakkad in Kerala. Here in Muscat I live with my Husband, Jitesh Kutty and our 3 yr old daughter Diya. I used to work as an accountant but now I resigned.

I have an elder Brother who is in Kuwait and and elder Sister in Bangalore.

Im a very jolly person but sometimes very emotional too. I get sentimental very fast. I love to make friends. but I hv very little friends. In this group Id love to make more friends. Im a Libran.

Howz everyone today??? Well first to introduce myself.............I'm 27yrs married female staying in Dubai for all my life. Name is Fatima Manzoor and i have two lovely daughters 3yrs and 6month and 1yr and 10 months................and third one due in November 2007!
My husband works for the medical sector as a Senior Lab Technician and I work full time as an Exec. Sec., in an Investment Firm from 8-6 five days a week!
Hobbies include reading, music, movies and travelling........but with two kids have not really explored a lot lately!
