Kumkumadhi Thailam - Fairer skin?

    I have heard that the application of kumkumadhi thailam on face gives a fairer and a brighter skin.

    Has anyone heard about this? What are the other uses?

    Has anyone ever tried it?

    yes it is true.. but u cant use it like any other cream.. it is so oily on skin and attracts dust if u go out.. u can apply this on overnight.
    Also this will not suit for all skin types. One of my friend got pimples on her face after using this.

    oh thanks for the info.

    I think it must be an oil that heats up the skin then inspite making us fair....

    Most vegetable oils are good for skin, for massaging. Til oil is best. It makes skin clear, soft and glow. But like Mithra says, oils cannot be used like creams. Can massage and then wash off with besan flour.

    Kunkumadi has got added herbs and is good for skin, but will not make fair. Fair and dark is genetic. Only bleach will make fairer colour but it is temporary and harmful.

    kumkumadi tailam is really good for the skin,it has better results then many of the market products and nowadays its is widely used in the spas for the facials.

    When using Kumkumadi for oily skin,it is better to consult a skin specialist before using for the face.When i tried Kumkumadi lepam in my teens,i started getting more pimples in the face.
