Default How to deal with the swelling after injury

Dear ILs

My son gets hurt one day or the another and I don't know how to deal with the sweling. Today he got hurt with the desk and got swelling behind ear. I am confused what to do ? Can you people take me out of this problem.

Please see if he has any specific problem or he is real naughty. If he is naughty, please wash the area with running water, not hot, for some time. This will help in maintaining the blood flow in that area and will stop the swelling. This procedure is very effective when one falls down or twists the ankle or has injured the leg. I had been doing like this whenever I get hurt and this is very effective.

If it is head injury, like bumps in the head, dont rub/massage. Put some icepack. and the swelling will go off in 2 days.
