    Hello Dr Charuchitra,

    As i told you earlier....my Mother is having thyroid problem and hot flashes as well...She went for a routine test of TSH day before yesterday only...so today i can give you the reading...her TSH reading is 0.31...sorry as i could not give the reading earlier bcoz my mother always used to forget noting down the reading...i hope now you can suggest some remedy for hot flashes...thanks

    Hi Ammvin,

    Sorry for the delay in replying. The yoga specific for Pcos are a real lot. For some a combination of suryanamaskaran n pilates work. For some kayakalpa works. I suggest u contact a yoga practitioner as he ll be able to guide u more.
    As for the vitex tree it grows in India. but I couldnt find the regional name. Its said to work on pcos. But thats not the only one.

    Hi Viji,

    Follicular study is a scan u take to see whether u r ovulating properly, if so on which day. As per ur hisstory ur periods had been irregular for past five years only. And u don ve insulin resistance.
    I assure u siddha/ayurveda has gud supportive therapy. I suggest u consult a doc in person as I cant be giving out prescriptions without seeing u. u continue both ur gyn treatment n siddha treatment together. No harm n side effects.

    Hi Fresh hope,

    Hope ur fathers feeling better. The hot flashes are definitely due to her thyroid condition. I suggest her to get some vettiver n soak it in warm water n drink ithat water only. Also put some in her bathing water.it ll help. Ask her to apply chandan on her face twice aday n leave it till it dries off n then wash off.

    Thanks a lot Dr Charuchitra for your suggestions....if i am not wrong Vettiver is also known as Khus-Khus in Hindi.pls confirm... My Father is feeling better than before...now his throat is not constantly dry..thanks a lot..

    i am following all intructions. its working well.
    now itching in head has reduced mostly.
    tat bath powder is really good smells good makes skin soft.

    i couldnt able to get sunscreen with 40 spf. i got himalaya sunscren spf 15 with aloe vera. it gives cooling effect.

    oilness has greatly reduced. i feeling dry on my face nw.

    can i use honey and rose water as moisturise.
