Power of turmeric

turmeric is said to help in getting rid of facial hair i am not sure how much of it is true .

Yes turmeric has very good medicinal properties. When turmeric and pepper powder added with milk, gives good releif for cold.

Nowadays we ladies use food color which has chemical and preservaties. Turmeric is a natural food color.

After delivery, mothers advise too apply lot of turmeric and take bath to get rid of any body odour. Using fresh turmeric gives very good smell.

And we also swallo turmeric added in honey before taking any ayurvedic medicine after child birth. It helps to clean and cure the itenstine.

Thanks Periamma for sharing information about turmeric.. Here the other day I saw a TV show where that doctor was telling everyone to take turmeric supplement tablets.. He was telling that turmeric is very effective in preventing cancer by destroying the free radicals thats formed in the body...

 

I forgot to mention that taking cauliflower with turmeric is very effective in preventing prostrate cancer.. This was also told by that doctor
