Default Simply honey

Hi

Honey is nature's nature sweetener and so easy to use. It gives you an instant boost to your energy levels:

- Just spread on piping hot toast, be as generous as you like.

- Natural yogurt is a healthy start but can be turned into a real treat with a tsp of honey stirred in.

- Keep your fruit intake up by making a smoothie.... using some orange juice and a good dollop of honey...don't forget to add your preferred fruit.

- Using honey in your tea or coffee instead of sugar is a good idea.

- Put a good tsp of honey in a mug, add a slice of lemon with a clove or two, top up with very hot water and drink which soothe your cold

The honey healing mask for the spot
2 tsp of honey, 1/4 tsp of fine sea salt, 1 tsp of turmeric. Blind to a thick paste. apply only to the spot and leave overnight. wash your face as normal

Lemon based mask for excess hair.
mix together 1 tsp of lemon juice with one tsp of honey. smooth on the face in the direction of the hair growth and leave on for ten minutes.

Thanks Huma for the information.
some are in use in our household like, using it as spread for chapathi, bread, my husband uses it for tea sometimes, honey in the kanji and we also use honey to give any crushed medicine for the children.
Regarding the face mask and also for excess hair, I will try because I have 2 teenage daughters with age-related problems like acne, excess hair.
Once again thanks.

I love to drink black tea with honey. It is my week end ritual earl grey # 48 and 2 tspns honey. My kids love to have a few sips from my cup.

Huma love your avatar....you are looking very chic (if it is you). If you remember we both had a haircut around the same time. Looks like we both went for the same length (going by your avatar)

thanks huma, for this wonderful informations reg. honey.....i would like 2 add some medicinal values of honey here....

1. 2tsp of honey taken with warm water is good for dry -cough.

2. applying honey immediately over minor burns will prevent blister formation.

as mentioned by huma, an application of honey + lemonjuice on the face -- is a natural bleach.

honey can b used by all age groups....if they are 'nt allergic 2 the sm....
