I am advising my children to do the same as I am drinking atleast 6 cups of water a day.

Dear Geetha,
I just want to share my experience.
I went to a dietician in Dec last, to seek her help to knock off a few kilos.
She first advised that minimum1.5-2 litres of water must be consumed everyday, to help dieting. Minimum 500 ml, if not a little more, is a must as soon as you wake up, before coffee. The middle cup of water is mixed woth lime juice - no honey, note.
I literally struggled to drink so much of water, to start with. But I consciouly forced that habit on myself. Now, I am able to drink minimum 2 lts everyday with ease. I strongly feel, it helps us keep our weight under control.
If I fail to drink plenty of water for 2-3 days, I definitely see a marginal increase in my weight. So, I "rush back" to my water-drinking habit !

Thanks for such a good information. I actually get irritated to drink water, i am not at all interested to take water but after reading this i will try to drink approximately 8 glasses of water. iI will try to drink from today onwards please....... support me for this.

Dear Mrs. Chitvish,

I have read that water is good for flushing the toxins from our body and for good skin. But I didn't know that it also helps control weight. Thats a very good tip. Thankyou.

I find it difficult to drink .5 ltrs every morning in empty stomach. As of now, I have slowly made it .25 ltrs. Hopefully I should increase it to .5 ltrs. I felt that warming it up for a few seconds in the microwave helped a little.
