Thanks for the link. The old one is unbeatable; more to do with memories I guess. New version is also very good. It brought tears to my eyes; especially the army one.
I didn't get some people in this clip. I need to search for them.

new one is not bad. but old one is the best. it had personalities equally from all regions and all fields.

 

both versions r good....but sad as my language not there.

 

As many of you feel , I too like the old one (as a whole) of the two.

But have to say that new one also has some good things , i like only some parts of the new one hearing impaired kids shown with salman khan ,
the sports persons part, senior citizens with mahesh babu, coverage of all the historic places in the background and the ending part with army.

In the new one i think there is more emphasis on celebrities rather than common man. The new one is produced by Zoom tv with two others i think ( as some one said with more bollywood in it, i agree) but somehow i have and will always like the old DD one.

Hope DD comes up with a new version which stands as tall as its old one .

 

i like the old version better...its abt what India is....the new version only tries to accomodate as many bollywood stars as possible..
little disappointed that the new version doesnt lacks the soul...
