Welcome here and also il. Nice to know you had good hindi teacher.
All sing gazals. Aruna singing gazals is a news to me..but could be happening. IF you are a carnatic music lover, you can find some of her abangs which have been uploaded at a email, which is discussed in this thread. Heard O.S.Arun has started singing tamil gazals.
I Like shaan's renditions also..
I am shanthi. handle was suggested by my dh.

Khayyam as you must be knowing has given us ghazals in many films,......

Thodisi Bewafaai
All these movies though not all are very popular, have memorable ghazals ...................

Yes, i have a good collection both as cassettes and mp3. most of the mp3 do come from air recording, i edit and convert and also convert cassettes rare ones into mp3.
All the four films have great songs...
