    Inspired by Latha Ram's thread, I'm starting this thread.
    Here I'm giving the link of my favourite thillanas.
    Thillanas are mood lifters/enhancers.
    I like Lalgudi's and Dr.M.Balamurali Krishna's rendition of thillanas.

    I love all these thillanas especially mand and behag.. have you listened to a karnaranjani thillana..it sometimes haunts me..do not remember whether it was bjy or nityashree.

    i love another of bmk composed thillana in brindavani..(i will upload if i have the original in my files) the you tube version with prince varma is a little grainy..

    I had long back recorded this from a air recording i think..and edited..but still you will hear the humm..
    Karnaranjani for you ..listen to how Lalgudi has used these ambal names and ended with karnaranjani.. hats of the genius..

    Also listen to nityashree singing valachi thillana, before her voice got spoiled by singing all those serial songs..early 90's.. let me see if i have.. her voice during that period was better than now is my opinion.
