| |  Are filmstars been seen in the roads of mumbai?
Hi Friends,
Everybody has a notion specially who live outside mumbai that film stars can be seen in the roads of mumbai...or they can be seen in the morning having morning walk or so.......
I would like to ask you all.....is it true enough....?if somebody has some experience...please share with us

Maybe, if you live in areas like Bandra, Juhu etc where a lot of the stars live. But I doubt they walk on the roads - I lived in Mumbai for over 25 years and have yet to see one strolling around!!

I have seen Shiney Ahuja, Shilpa Shetty, Urmila Matondkar, Zareena Wahab, Shaan, Sophie Choudhary, Mika, Cyrus Broacha, sunidhi chauhan, alkya yagnik and a few more.

Hey,
Nobody gives so much importance to them in areas like Bandra and Andheri!
Most of the studios are there and they go to these places for shooting.
Our satellite town Vashi is also a major hub for their visits.
Most of the filmstars visit this place during Dussera and we get to see them. Hi Hi.

I would like to add my two cents to this thread! We can catch some film stars in luxury hotels - dining or working out. Also at traffic signals sometimes, well not exactly waiting at traffic signals but of course, in their flashy chauffeur driven cars. Once while travelling from Dubai to Mumbai, Anil Kapoor and his son were just in the seats in front of me and my son. He smiled a polite smile too. In mumbai, I've happened to see some TV actors and also Sanjay Dutt and yes! also Abhishek Bachchan at dubai airport. But nothing gr8. I normally don't react to them. At a function in Abu Dhabi, had met Aishwarya Rai too when she was felicitated after winning the Miss World title. My son has met Mahi (dhoni), Raina, Sehwag, Irfan and some cricketers when they played in Abu dhabi.
Actually, I like the mumbai attitude towards celebrities. It's not a big thing for them even if they catch a glimpse of some celebrity. Yeah! my husband saw Tabu with a group of friends who had come to watch a movie at the same multiplex as my hubby. But the crowd was normal. That's Mumbai. In mumbai, everybody is a star! Mumbai rocks hence every mumbaikar is a rockstar!

I've not seen many movie stars but a few like Aarya Babbar(if he is a star) in Inorbit mall was with us on stairs, Ajay Devgan while the shooting of Legend of Bhagatsingh in our village. (The court, jail, Lahore railway station, market were shot at the railway station of my village).
But seen many TV stars like Parvati and her devrani from Kahani Ghar Ghar ki (dont remember there names), Narayani Shastri, the Ek thi Rajkumari Hero, K****i Jog, an actor from LOC and many others in Malad and Goregaon. Some stay in our complex itself.

Yeah! you get to see many actors and TV stars in Mumbai. Sometimes, you don't even recall their names and soon forget having seen them. Actually, in India, celebrities are treated like some stars fallen straight from the heavens. It's okay to a certain extent but the real heroe is the common man. Life is one big stage and the roles that a common man has to play in his/her everyday life is worth winning an award for a lifetime achievement.
So, we see a lot of such people on the streets of Mumbai and other cities and they are no less than our "so called commando-police protected" stars.

I born and brought in mumbai....
in my childhood I hv seen many starts on the road... now you all r thinking how??
wel.. when there is any flood or desert affected city/town.. then all film stars used to travel in truck through out few area to collect cloths, utnesils, etc... for needy people.
now if you to to 5 star hotel, for dinner/ party/ coffee shop... specially late night.. thn definatly u can meet few stars...
as mentioned above, juhu/bandra are most happening palce to see stars...
for famous T.v. stars.. go to malad/andheri(specially lokhandwala)/goregaon Malls/gym... u can meet them there...
I personally meet.. Aishwarya Rai, John abraham, Jawed Akhter, shabana azmi, mallika Arora khan,
