    Vanitha files case against father, brother


    A day after her husband Anand Rajan was arrested for allegedly assaulting her father Vijayakumar, former actress Vanitha approached DGP Letika Saran on Wednesday, saying the said case had been foisted on her husband, and filed a new counter-complaint against her father Vijayakumar, mother Manjula and half-brother Arun.
    According to Vanitha's disclosure to the media on Wednesday, the dispute began when Vanitha and her husband Anand Rajan came to pick up their nine-year-old son Vijay Sri Hari from his grandfather Vijayakumar's house on November 7 after the Deepavali holidays.
    "However, my father was in an intoxicated condition and did not want to let my son go. He abused me and started pushing me around. When my husband tried to intervene, Arun assaulted my husband and me. We approached the police immediately after the incident. After lodging the complaint, some police personnel escorted me back to my father’s house so that I could take my son," she said.
    A few days after this incident, Vijayakumar lodged a complaint on November 20, alleging that Vanitha's husband Anand Rajan had pushed him (Vijayakumar), resulting in a fracture in the wrist during a scuffle on November 7. Based on this complaint, the Chennai suburban police arrested Anand Rajan on Tuesday and remanded him in judicial custody.
    "The police arrested my husband on Tuesday, but there was no action on my complaint dated November 7," Vanitha said, adding that the Chennai police is handling the case in favour of her half-brother and father Vijayakumar. However, the police said a case had been registered against Vijayakumar, Manjula and Arun for wrongful restraint and voluntarily causing hurt. Meanwhile, Vijayakumar and his family have decided to move the court for anticipatory bail, fearing arrest in the case. Anand Rajan has also filed a petition seeking bail. Police suspect that cracks had developed in the family over property worth crores of rupees owned by Vijayakumar.

    Her elder son is from Akash and he is growing with his grandfather vijayakumar.Now vanitha wants her son with her but her father vijayakumar is refusing to send his grandson saying that the stepfather anandraj won't look after him properly.But vanitha is not convinced and hence the big fight.During this fight both the parties gave police complaint against each other but due to vijayakumar's influence they arrested vanitha's current husband anandaraj.


    Now vanitha is more frustrated and she took out her husband in bail and she is announcing that she will reveal all the vijayakumar manjula family secrets to the press.Now some powerful friends of vijayakumar are threatening vanitha that if she reveals any secret then they will kill her.Don't know what such big secret will be?This is the hot question now.



    And there are some news that vijayakumar tried to molest vanitha when he was in a drunken state and also that director hari who married preetha, the second daughter of vijayakumar is 18 yrs older to preetha and for the sake of marrying preetha he set some false horoscope and also did so many things (illegal) to vijayakumar for marrying his second daughter.Vijayakumar's first wife muthukannu's children are kavitha, anitha and arun vijay and the lady kavitha is proven to be a characterless woman in the court by her husband and he got divorse from her.This kavitha is one who acted as sarathkumar's sister in a tamil film kooli.


    All the members of vijayakumar's family are supporting director hari hoping that he would direct a film with arunkumar as the lead.But hari is deceving them all these years it seems.

    Yes Hema even I read in one of the tamil cinema news site.

    There may be some hidden secrets in the Vijayakumar's family, many news used to come about their family. Yes in kooli I saw her but she didnt act after it seems.

    Vanitha absconding: Police

    Here comes an interesting development at the ongoing dispute between actress Vanitha and her father-actor Vijayakumar!
    Just a day after Vanitha personally met suburban Chennai Police Commissioner S.R. Jangid on Monday and submitted certain details in connection with the dispute, the Maduravoyal police on Tuesday informed the Madras High Court that Vanitha is absconding and steps are to being taken to apprehend her!
    The police filed a counter-affidavit saying: "Vanitha Vijayakumar is still absconding. However, we are taking our sincere and effective steps continuously to apprehend the accused person (Vanitha) in order to complete the investigation."
    In his counter to Vanitha’s anticipatory bail petition, Maduravoyal inspector V. Tamilvanan stated that Vanitha might tamper with evidence and threaten witnesses if released on anticipatory bail. However, the High Court orally directed the police not to arrest Vanitha till December 3.

    Senior Actor Vijaykumar says he is ashamed of his daughter Vanitha

    Yesterday a clipping of a brief interview with actor Vijay Kumar was telecast in Sun News where he was seen saying that he is ashamed of his daughter Vanitha and no more wants to call her as his "daughter".

    And Vanitha was saying" her mom Manjula has of late been addicted to drinking and doesnt even know what she is saying or doing.

    Can any body tell what is this controversy about ?

    What is the reason to make their family matter public ?

    In newspapers / TV the main topic is now the Vijayakumar - Vanitha clash.

    In a magazine, the reporter said that everything is for the property issue.

    But why they are making their family matter public??

    The one who acted in kooli was another daughter from his first marriage. Vanitha acted with Vijay in a movie called Chandralekha and also in another movie with Rajkiran.

    Latest I read was that she was going to divorce her NRI husband and re-unite with Akash for the sake of her son. Not sure if this is true but after that incident she also wanted to patch up with her father and from all pictures I have seen lately, it seems their relations have improved somewhat.

    I also think that there are many nasty secrets in this family but I still think it's weird to wash your dirty linen in public (she once said in an interview that her biological father was somebody else and not Vijayakumar). :eek:mg:
