Regarding Sridevi its true that she was pregnant at the time of her marriage. There was a press conference conducted by Vijayakumar and Manjula announcing that Sridevi is getting married to Boni Kapoor. All the south indian news media was flashing her Pregnant photos.

Sridevi was forcing Mitun Chakrabarty to marry her, but he refused to marry her but he wanted her to be his mistress. That's when she chose Boni Kapoor.

Sridevi was also 'standing on one foot' that if she marries, it will be only with Arvind Swamy !! Thankfully, he vehemently & stubbornly refused .

I had also heard that Kamal hassan and sridevi wanted to marry each other but it was due to some misunderstanding during and afterwards the film "moondram pirai / sadma", that they changed their hearts.
