Review - 36 China Town

Don't get carried away by the title and decide its an English movie. Its a Hindi movie. Its one of the hit movies of 2006, directed by Abbas - Mastan with nice music from Himesh Reshammiya. This movie introduces Upen Patel in a character Rocky.


For those who dont know who Upen Patel is, he is a UK born Indian Model.


The cast is too long and rich. We have Priyanka Chopra, Akshaye Khanna, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Isha Koppikar, Tanushree Dutta, Payal Rohatgi and ofcourse Johny Leaver and Paresh Rawal, to name a few...
Isha's daughter is missing and who ever finds her, gets a huge sum of money. Both Shahid and Kareena recognizes the kid and informs it to Isha. By the time they come to 36, China Town (...yes, its the bungalow's address...) its around 1am. And no one is in the house. After a few mins, they come to know that Isha had been murdered. They plan to escape from the crime scene, but only when they come out, Kareena notices that she had left her luggage inside. When Shahid goes into the bungalow, Police (Akshaye Kanna) catches him. While investigating, he finds out 11 people had visited the bungalow that day.
The whole movie is so thrilling, that everyone starts suspecting the other and of course, as usual, the character(s) who we have never even thought-of is the one...

I saw China Town too. Nice cops and robbers tale.
That fellow Upen looks handsome but cannot act .He should stick with clothing ads. only.
I do like Shahid Kapur very much . The boy is full of energy !Makes one want to dance with him !
