Yes, it is a sort of desi version of Austin Powers, Johnny English and such. This chap, Sivakarthikeyan is going to come big one day, i tell you. In fact he already has, playing the serious cop and doing the stunts of established cop heroes. His antics semantics etc., are truly unique and inimitable-the villain and the audience keeps guessing what his expression and his dialogue is conveying, while in the next scene he surprises both with unexpected twists and turns. His woman empowerment attitude is reflected in the way he has given a powerful role for the heroine, who is associated with the cop hero till the end. If we recollect, it was World Nayagan, Kamal Hassan who gives such powerful role for his heroines(usually named Janaki). There were a lot of empowered women(college girls, school girls) who came to watch the cinema hall where i went. Speaks of the lot of empowerment Vijay TV is doing.
