Calling all horror movie lovers!!

How many of u actualy like to watch horror movies..which r u'r fave?ie which movies have actually chilled u to u'r bone??

I LOVE horror movies but I don't like the slasher type movies though...they are quite cheesy. All time favorites include:

The Grudge,The ring,The Blair witch project, Ghost Ship.....really sent chills down my spine!

The Exorcist [ original one with Ellen Burstyn ]
The Sixth Sense
The Grudge [ ONLY Part 1]
The Others .... not sure if it falls in category of 'Horror' but definitely eerie and wonderful ending !!

You can count on me for horror movies without blood shed. Grudge 1 , 2 & Saw 1 & 2 were two movies which chilled my spine..Other than that Ring was good..

But somehow I don't find any thrill in watching Tamil horror movies. No thrill at all.

I remember seeing Exorcist & Dracula when i was in my school.

I Luv to read Stephen king's (king of horror) books. This is more thrilling than watching a movie..

ive watched grudge and ghost ship..Ghost ship has gud spl effects..
Ive not seen The blair witch project..Have to lend it form lib..

Most of horror movies's part 1 are gud..But 2nd part and 3rd part r not at all scary but disgusting..
ive watched "the others"..As u say its not a horror kinda movie but i think it can be listed in the mystery or suspense category..Nicole kidman was tooooo gud in that movie..even i liked the ending..was unpredictable..

Yeah tamil horror movies r that much horrifying cuz IMO most of the movies r remade..Only a few r original movies..I liked the movie"omen"but the same movie was remade in tamil(forgot the name)and i dint find it scary at all..

Have u seen any hindhi horror films..i liked vaasthu shastra,darna mana hai

I haven't watched Vassthu sastra..Was it a recent one? No idea about it..But as u said Darna Mana Hai was good..Especially the scene of candid camera was least expected.. And in the last scene felt very sorry for the girl. She would be trying to explain about the guy to the police officers and simultaneously she would be seeing her body being removed by them...

Horror movies in Hindi OK & English good but in Tamil Not tolerable.

Vassthu shasthra was released 3 or 4 yrs back..Sushmitha sen has acted well in that movie..If u get a chance watch it..U'll like it..

I won't call myself a horror movie lover.....

I used to watched many horror movies during my school & college days. In fact, I will be scared stiff and still watch it fully.

But now, after marriage & kids, don't know why or how, I close my eyes during those horror scenes and better yet, I avoid watching those movies.

I watched Shyamalan's movie..i think it is Lady in the water...couldn't sleep for many days after that.

Also saw Grudge 1..too gross and abstract.

Then the Nicole Kidman movie- Alien Invasion

Will add more when I remember..
