Searching for a Tamil movie that seen during my childhood days

Hi,

I had seen a Tamil movie almost 15-20 years ago.Hero I think kamal Hasan or rajinikant. I have a vague memory of this movie . It was some action movie I think.Hero/heroine is police officer or something like that.At the end heroine was held captive by the villain team and tied up inside an outdoor garden/park shed which is open in all sides .Along the stunts with bad guys hero tries to untie heroine but villain throws some sharp object(guess knife) heroine falls and dies on the hands of hero.
These are the only scenes I can remember.It must be a hit film that's why I even watched it (I don't know Tamil).I know there are many tamilians here in IL.If you know the movie with this clues please let me know.That scene is haunting me like anything LOL.I wish to watch it again.Thanks in advance

 

Sorry Frommars I am not able to recollect heroine.What I remember is heroine was wearing a shirt and pant and her hands were tied up on both sides.The shed looks like a open hut inside a park.The sharp object which villain throws(what I remember is like a needle) falls on heroine's hand.Meanwhile hero jumps into the shed and tries to rescue her but she fell into his hands.I am not sure whether she dies at the end.
The film is not action film but has stunts with villain.
Most probably hero is kamal Hasan (of course younger version).My husband says it might be "Guna" and in most of the kamal Hassan film one of the female lead dies at the end.So it will be difficult to find it.Anyway I am trying to find link of guna to watch it.

 

Ya I know Darmesh it will be difficult to find the movie without knowing hero or heroine.It is a movie around 1990-1995 .So my searching option is narrowed.
