Maestro Ilayaraja's 'Thiruvasagam in Symphony'

Hi Ladies,

I got a copy of this CD yesterday - 'Thiruvasagam in Symphony' by the Maestro. I listened to those songs, simply awesome. Amazing work by Ilayaraja. No wonder there was such a big hype about the release!

This album includes 6 tracks, in which Ilayaraja sings 5 of them himself and it really gives a divine feeling. In one of the song, Bavadharini, his daugther too has joined him. The CD plays for little more than a hour, but you will tend to forget yourself once you start listening to it.

Did you buy the CD online? I checked out in Amazon sometime back and it said no stock available.

I got to read that Thiruvasagam in Symphony was Ilayaraja's 2 years project. It has been worked out great!

When I purchased the CD in a nearby shop, I also got a book with the lyrics. That helped in following the thiruvasagam verses more close and get to the deep of it. I enjoyed the song 'Polla Vinayen...' to the best!
