What's happening to Bollywood movies???

Hi,
What's happening to Bolloywood movies?
Most of the movies are flop now a days. There is no good movies, no good songs..no good scripts.. what's happening??

I hope every ones busy with schedule in tv advertisements, forgein tours & IPL matches.. no ones to have keen interest in movie scripts nor songs & lyrics.. They are least bothered abt story & hits but much caring how much they can cash

Hope movies like Check De, Tare Zameen Par should come more...

good question.....i have seen most of the movies but didnt enjoy them much ...movies like race are totally disgusting .....i liked U ME UR HUM among all 2008 movies.....
hope directors take a cue frm movies and hits ike chak de,taare zammen par which r more meaningful .....

Both of them are from great film makers...but fail to reach the expectations of the viewers.

Even I was wondering the same !! None of the movies are worth watching nowadays ,especially with family.

I feel it is because , they are targeting mainly NRI's and spend more money & energy to ape the Hollywood movies. Result, movies with no story line and heroines with skimpy outfits !

But in the recent movies, "U, Me aur Hum" was off beat, but read that it was also inspired by an English movie..but it was ok.

Of course, Taare Zameen Par takes the cake...makes us glued to the screen from start to finish .

Wish people concentrate more on stories rather than the locales and the conscious effort to copy the English movies.

I agree with you..none of the movies are worth watching with family.
Especially the song scenes.
Recent movies like U,me aur hum and Taare Zameen par were good.
