    MARO CHARITRA. remade in hindi as Ek Duuje Ke Liye, ran houseful even in chennai for more than a year, eventhough it was a telugu movie. Kamal and Saritha in the lead role. directed by K.Balachander.It was SARITHA's first movie.

    I should have written Rajini gave preferences to Kannada actors in his movies than the word 'introduced'. Sorry for my mistake.
    In his home production movie 'Valli' Kannada actor Ashok played the minister role and father of the villain.
    It was KB who introduced Kannada actors more to the Tamil field.

    Aamir Khan & Juhi Chawla had a brilliant debut movie with the super-hit 'Qayamat se Qayamat Tak' . Cute couple with good chemistry and lilting, melodious music.

    Kizhakke pogum rail by Bharathiraja was the first movie for both Sudhakar and Radhika.

    Sudhakar in the beginning was a successful hero but later failed to retain that name.
    He ended up as a clown in the Telugu cine industry while Radhika proved herself as an actress and also as a producer.
